One More Nasty Habit

© Jeffrey Hellman 1991

To some I am well traveled

To others I travel well

No one's yet unraveled

The secret of my spell

To the world I throw a smile

To the ladies I smile some more

Ask me why I'm smiling

It's a habit, nothing more

Cigarettes and black caffeine

Ups and downs bring sleepless dreams

Expanding heads around shrinking minds

Paisley eyes with color bind

Moonlight passions, monetary grind

I want one more nasty habit before I die

So when I'm feeling listless

Life's a jaded bore

I close my eyes and concentrate

Try and find one more

One more nasty habit before I die.
